Mark Dean Schwab is scheduled to be executed in the State of Florida on July 1st.

Schwab was convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering an eleven year old boy. He is long overdue for his final reckoning.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Within hours of the U.S. Supreme Court lifting a stay of execution of a man convicted of killing an 11-year-old boy, Gov. Charlie Crist ordered that the sentence be carried out at 6 p.m. on July 1.

Mark Dean Schwab was given a reprieve while the justices considered the constitutionality of lethal injection procedures in several states.

The court a month ago upheld the use of lethal injection in a similar Kentucky case. On Monday, they lifted the stay on Schwab's execution that was ordered six months ago.
