Julius Ricardo Young Executed

Julius Ricardo Young was pronounced dead at 6:27 p.m. Thursday at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.

Young was convicted of killing Joyland Morgan and her son, Kewan, whose bodies were found Oct. 1, 1993, at their Tulsa apartment.

Prosecutors say Young was upset that Morgan's mother had recently ended their relationship. They say he broke into the family's apartment and beat the two with a baseball bat.    FOX NEWS
