HUNTSVILLE — A man sent to death row for the stabbing deaths of a single mother and her 2-year-old son almost 20 years ago was given a lethal injection tonight while his victims' family looked on.Derrick Sonnier, 40, was condemned for the 1991 deaths of Melody Flowers, 27, and her son Patrick Flowers, 2.Sonnier made no final statment and was pronounced dead at 6:18 p.m.
