JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A trip to a Southside store turned into a terrifying encounter for a man who was beaten and carjacked in a supermarket parking lot.

The attack happened last Friday outside of the Winn Dixie on Old Kings Road, off Baymeadows Road near Philips Highway.

Three days later, the 45-year-old victim spoke to Channel 4 about the attack.
