OAKLAND PARK, Fla. -- A 22-year-old woman was charged Tuesday with the death of her infant daughter whose body was found in a trash can outside the woman's house, Broward County authorities said.

Fire rescue responded to Lindsey Scott's home Saturday after receiving a call that the woman was semiconscious, vomiting and bleeding in a shower, sheriff officials said. Staff at Holy Cross Hospital discovered an umbilical cord and contacted authorities. (Source.)
